About Us
The SADC RAQ Association is dedicated to advancing HVAC standards and best practices in the Southern African region. We connect professionals, students, and industry stakeholders.
Brief History
The SADC RAC Association was born from a shared vision of collaboration in 2020 when representatives from Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia convened at Victoria Falls. Recognizing the critical need for regional cooperation in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) sector, these founding countries laid the groundwork for a unified effort to address industry challenges and promote best practices. This initial meeting sparked a period of significant growth, with the association expanding to eight member countries by 2022, solidifying its position as a leading voice for the RAC industry across the SADC region.
